Jeddah Logistic Station is an integrated logistics project for truck parking. It develops a modern centre to manage truck movement and provide operational and logistics services, raising the efficiency of transport and supply chains in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The site is on Al Leeth Road, south of Jeddah, near the Third Industrial City, Car City, Scrap City and Building City. The road gives it direct access, close to the industrial areas and to the businesses that generate truck traffic.
Its activities are core and supporting. The core: operational truck parking, warehouses, cross-docking yards, truck parking bays, a truck weighbridge and periodic inspection. The supporting: truck workshops, a fuel station, worker housing, and restaurants and cafés. Fleets and storage operators can take serviced plots of 2,500 to 6,000 m².
The station belongs to the truck parking initiative at city entrances, which sets aside sites that receive trucks and organise their movement, so unplanned stopping becomes organised operation. It sits within a strategic partnership between Mosa Al Mosa Group and Jeddah Development and Urban Regeneration Company, through which Development Vehicles Operating Company owns the project. Mafaz Algharbiah develops, markets and operates it; Tilad Construction builds it, and Abaad Al Ruya Engineering Consultants designs and supervises it.
Its aims are to organise truck movement and keep trucks out of urban areas, improve road safety and the city's entrances, make logistics services more efficient, keep goods and vehicles secure, and reduce environmental impact.
